Sound Transmission Loss Suite

A suite of rooms consisting of a main reverberation chamber connected to hemi-anechoic, anechoic and portable anechoic chambers through removable panels in the walls and ceiling.

The reverberation chamber is isolated from the rest of the facility through an 80 coil spring isolation system.  Noise generation via load speakers reflect off interior walls causing uniform sound distribution through the "source" chamber.

Sound transmission data is collected through microphones placed in the "receiving" anechoic room.
