In September of 1999, Sika Automotive announced a cooperative agreement with LMS International, a technology leader in virtual prototyping of acoustics, NVH, durability and mechanical simulation.

In this agreement, Sika Automotive utilizes LMS’ NVH software in the new Technology Center located in Madison Heights, Michigan. This software will be utilized to test, analyze, validate, and optimize Sika products in vehicles under real operating conditions.

LMS International will contract space in Sika’s Technology Center. Their goal is to utilize a variety of the acoustic suites within the facility to continue their long-term projects in the areas of NVH, durability and kenmatic refinement.
